A fab designer of vintage garments in the mid to late 1940s, Dorine Liebert was know for fanciful fabrics and gracious shapes. This vintage cashmere sweater suit is no exception. It's a lovely cream and beige in 100% cashmere.
The super soft sweater has a sweet-heart neckline, edged with the same unique knit as the skirt. The sleeves are slightly ruched on th outside. The yoke is lined with an organdy, but the body of the sweater is not lined.
The skirt is a slim pencil style with 2 small side slits and a left side metal zipper. It is completely lined in white silk taffeta.
